Sales Engineer LATAM

As Sales Engineer for Latin America, you are in charge of increasing the Sales and profitability of Poclain products and systems on your sales zone by increasing sales to existing customers and new prospects and ensuring customer’s satisfaction.

You will :
- Manage Existing Customers and Distributors in sales territory (Sales Territory : South America
- Prospect new markets and new customers to develop territory’s sales and Poclain presence.
- Make sure POCLAIN is aware of all relevant customer projects in sales area
- Elaborate the technical / commercial propositions of standard products, or custom designed solutions, with respect to POCLAIN pricing policies.
- Work closely with Application Engineering to make sure that contract review is applied according to group rules
- Supervise outstanding payments; makes sure there is no credit insurance overrun and takes the necessary actions if necessary.
- Make sure that customer forecasts are being taken into account by POCLAIN factories
- Send a monthly report to the Subsidiary Manager.
- Forward to the Commercial & Marketing Direction in France all relevant information regarding market approach, customer and competitors.
- Work to achieve his assigned targets in terms of prototype points, number of visits and respect of group sales policy (ex. Price increases, Commercial Action Plan targets; Distribution Performance Agreement management)
- Establish sales commitment with distributors.
- Maintain the stock at a reasonable level.

For Distributors and OEM you will :
- Set up the annual commercial targets along with POCLAIN Direction.
- Train, motivate and visit distributors in the field.
- Guarantee the relevance of the technical proposal and the quotation to optimize sales and POCLAIN margin.
- Make sure Distribution contract is kept up-to-date
- Suggest new sales organisation if required.

Regarding Global accounts & international coordinator accounts you will :
- Manage technical & commercial points and report to POCLAIN Corporate.
- Follow POCLAIN policy locally.
- Negotiate and make sure all service rate Quality / delivery / price targets are achieved.
